Pompana

The house is located in a panoramic position in the quiet town of Pompana, an ancient village with a few houses in a magical Etruscan site. The house is completely independent and is divided into two floors, on the ground floor there is a living room with a working fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, and a dining room with direct access to the garden. On the second floor there are three double bedrooms, each with a double bed and a private bathroom and another living room with a working fireplace.
The furniture is cared for in every detail, ancient objects and tools belonging to the ancient Tuscan peasant traditions mix with contemporary works of art and paintings. During some renovations, about 15 years ago, an Etruscan place of worship was brought to light. Situated in what was the “pozzo di butto” or refuse pit of the dwelling in medieval times, it has been carefully conserved and made accessible, preserving the mosaic decorated flooring with the original Etruscan ceramic fragments that were discovered here.
